The group wire surface is removed without reserved under DL-186: the CreateChannelGroup and ListChannelGroups RPCs, ChannelGroup, ChannelGroupVisibility, ChannelGroupChanged, the agent create_channel_group arm, Channel.group_id, and CreateChannelRequest.group_id/group_name. bool shared is added at fresh numbers (Channel.shared = 13, CreateChannelRequest.shared = 8): a removed number is never reused at a different wire type, because a digest-pinned agent image or a stale UI tab would misdecode it. The removed oneof arm numbers (SubscribeCommsResponse 13, CommsCallRequest/CommsCallResult 9/10) stay unused and are never renumbered, which amends DL-186’s ‘densely renumbered (no holes)’ for those numbers; this clause holds only if Matt answers the record’s OQ4 (a). Agents organize channels through the tree: comms_create_channel takes parent (an agent handle) and shared, and comms_create_channel_group is deleted, completing follow-up A of RIG-2673.
